Tyler Malin

Designing systems, stories, and strategy.

Multidisciplinary designer, strategist, and founder working at the intersection of systems, stories, and sustainability. From pitch decks to codebases, I build with clarity and purpose.

About Me

I'm Tyler Malin — a systems-minded designer, strategist, and founder working across climate tech, creative technology, and decentralized systems. I thrive at the overlap of visual storytelling, software development, and mission-driven execution.

My background spans information design, legal engineering, creative direction, and product development, with deep experience building for both startups and global organizations. I've helped launch carbon marketplaces, Web3 platforms, AI tools, and investor pitches that raised seven figures.

Currently, I lead projects at:

Mālama Labs — building blockchain-powered carbon credit infrastructure;
Beneficial Technology — helping founders structure legally sound, scalable ventures; and
PromptOps — an AI automation agency for solopreneurs and small teams.

I've worn many hats over the years:

Creative director for brands with global reach
Legal architect for crypto-native startups
Full-stack builder of prototypes and MVPs
Pitch designer for climate, fintech, and Web3 ventures
Workshop host and strategist for mission-aligned orgs

But at the core, I'm a translator — turning complexity into clarity through words, visuals, and code.

Outside of work, I'm a dad, a trivia nerd, a sometime sailor, and a fan of analog things done well. I build for the long game — grounded in ethics, impact, and the joy of making things that matter.
